Legal Issues in Autism: School Districts and Parents; Perspectives from Both Sides

Nationally Well Known "Autism Attorney" Gary Mayerson will meet head to head with Prominent "School Board Attorney" Viola S. Lordi in this first time ever "Legal Conference" of such magnitude. Mr. Mayerson has testified before congress on the federal IDEA statute and is the Author of "How to Try an Autism Case," published in the June 2003 edition of New Jersey Lawyer's Magazine. He also was a principal presenter at the 3rd National IDEA Hearing Officer Training. Several Judges from New Jersey's OAL were in an attendance. He consults internationally and has presented at numerous conferences and Universities.

Prominent Attorney Viola S. Lordi represents school boards and provides legal counsel on higher education law. Mrs. Lordi has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the IDEA Compliance Insider. She continues to serve on the Board of Advisors for the IEP Trainer. She has served as speaker for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, The New Jersey Association for Affirmative Action in Higher Education, and the New Jersey School Boards Association/ New Jersey Association of School Attorney's on various school/ higher education law subjects.

Both Presenters at this conference have impressive resumes and their expertise in this field can bring valuable information to all those who attend. This is a "must see"
for parents, caregivers, school officials, teachers, professionals, Advocates, IEP members, CST members, Attorneys, organizations, and anyone else who has any kind of involvement in this field.
Gary's book "How to Compromise with your School District without Compromising Your Child" will also be available. Autism Resources is very proud to sponsor this event.
